At Storm King, as at most independent schools, tuition and other earned income cover only a portion of the cost of educating each student, with the remainder made up by fundraising. Storm King is currently faced with the need to bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of providing a unique and comprehensive education for each student. Contributions to The Storm King Fund help to close this gap and are the highest priority for charitable giving at Storm King.

The Storm King Fund raises critical support needed for the school. Tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating each Storm King student, with the remainder made up by fundraising. It contributes to scholarships, financial aid, new programs, research, and updated resources and facilities.

Giving to The Storm King Fund, or Annual Fund is a vote of confidence in Storm King today. This show of support is looked at very closely by foundations and other potential donors to affirm their judgment that Storm King is a worthwhile investment. The Storm King School is faced with the need to bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of providing a unique and comprehensive education for each student. Contributions to The Storm King Fund help to close this gap and are the highest priority for charitable giving at Storm King.

Storm King is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. All donors to The Storm King Fund receive a letter noting their gift amount, date of gift, and the disclosure that no goods or services were provided.

Donations can be made anytime and are recorded by fiscal year from July 1 through June 30. Gifts or pledges made early in the fiscal year are especially helpful

Yes. Many companies have a matching gift program. If your employer has one, you can effectively double or even triple your gift to Storm King. If your employer does not yet have a matching gift program, you may also consider asking them for a gift to The Storm King Fund.

Annual Fund gifts to Storm King range in size from below $100 to above $25,000. Every gift matters and every gift makes a difference. We ask each family to make a gift that is commensurate with both their financial capacity and desire to have an impact.
