History & Social Science Teacher
(Open Position/Effective Immediately)

The History & Social Science Teacher will teach five sections, coach two seasons, and participate in our residential life program.

Our History & Social Science classes range from eighth grade through senior level and advanced classes. Our immediate need is Global Studies History and Comparative Government. Other duties could include supervising weekend and after-school assignments, coaching sports, and supervising clubs when needed; attending parent/teacher meetings; attending faculty/staff meetings and others as required; and driving groups of students as needed for athletics, weekend, or other activities.

The Storm King School has launched the search to succeed the current Assistant Head of School for Finance, who has announced his upcoming retirement in 2025 at the end of a successful fourteen years at the school. The Chief Financial and Operations Officer will be a key member of the leadership team of the school, partnering with the Head of School and Board of Trustees on strategic decisions that will shape the future of SKS. Additionally, the CFOO will oversee the school’s finance office, the facilities and maintenance team, dining services, school security, and its outsourced technology support service. This is a highly visible role at SKS, and the new CFOO will become an integral part of the school community.
