Laura has an extensive background in banking, budgeting, tax accounting, investing and more recently, a decade working in the Finance Department at Mount Saint Mary College. She has been actively sharing her knowledge with her students at The Storm King School since 2017, with real life projects to further their learning. Q-term topics have included a hand-on class entitled Farm to Table. When not on the beautiful campus of The Storm King School, Mrs. Mowat is at home with her husband, Paul, cat, Pippi, and six chickens in Cornwall. They have two young adult children, one at home, the other in Texas. Her current hobbies include kayaking, gardening, hiking, cross country skiing, bird watching, following the stock market and traveling.
