Mr. Connors has a range of experience teaching concert band, jazz band, chorus, and general music at several public schools on the east side of the Hudson River including The Garrison School and Carrie E. Tompkins School, and Dutchess Day School. Mr. Connors has also offered private lessons to school-aged students and adults for over 20 years. He is the founder and leader of the Paul Connors Organ Trio, who perform in the New York metro area, and has experience performing as a freelance musician on the piano, synthesizer, organ, bass, guitar, and vocals with various local and national bands. In addition, Mr. Connors has worked as a recording session musician featured on national television shows and advertisements, and he has been a bandleader for event bands with clients including charitable organizations and Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Connors earned his BA in English at Fordham University, studied Jazz at Loyola University in New Orleans, and earned his Master’s in Music Education at New York University. He lives off campus with his wife and twins.
