Zhenya Kiperman is an award-winning filmmaker, author and film professor. He came to the United States from St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1989. He holds an MFA in Film and BA in Comparative Literature, both from Columbia University. He taught at New York University, New School, Fordham, St. John’s, Kutztown and Drexel Universities. During the summers, Mr. Kiperman teaches film/literature courses at Drexel’s Honors College. His publications include numerous essays on film and literature published in the United States, Europe and Russia. He began at The Storm King School in 2015, and enjoys sharing with students his skills and multicultural perspective.
