Joseph Graziosi (Mr. G) came to The Storm King School in 2008 after many years of teaching in both private and public schools. His passion is helping students reach their greatest potential through a positive approach to teaching and coaching. One has only to read his news posts as SKS's Director of Athletics to get a sense of his outlook and devotion to young people: "Teamwork, sportsmanship, mental toughness, caring, unselfishness, composure, support, family, love... These are the attributes to which we aspire at The Storm King School." Joseph identifies the proficiencies of each student and teaches the student to utilize them to develop ultimate goals. Under his leadership, SKS has won 23 Hudson Valley Athletic League (HVAL) championships including Wrestling, Boys & Girls Tennis, Boys & Girls Lacrosse, Boys & Girls Soccer, Cross Country, Boys Basketball, Bowling, and the Sportsmanship Award.

When not in the classroom or on the athletic field, Mr. G. is an ardent musician and enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Elijah. His personal credo comes from the Roman epic poet Virgil, “They are able who think they are able”.
