Dr. Cervantes holds an EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri, an MS in Sports Management from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Mass Communications from Franklin Pierce University. Before joining the faculty at Storm King, she served as Director of Athletics and Student Leadership at The Academy of Penguin Hall, and an assistant volleyball coach at George Washington University and Southwest-Southeast Missouri State University, where she was also the recruiting coordinator and camp director. Her philosophy is focused on the young people she coaches and oversees. She believes in helping student-athletes become young professionals, encouraging hard work and discipline and making a difference in her community.
