ASP - English Teacher

Lisa has over 12 years of experience teaching a variety of subjects to students with learning differences while using a differentiated approach. She has completed extensive training in multi-sensory tactics, whole language, behavior modification, and Orton-Gillingham. Lisa's positive, warm demeanor provides calm reassurance to students and encourages them to develop their skills and strengths. She even finds techniques that she used in a previous role as a theater director to be helpful in the classroom, that is, encouraging students' creative participation and in expressing their individuality. When she's not busy teaching, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family including her three children, running, and hiking with her dogs.
