With the School’s 151st Commencement exactly one month away, the SKS Senior Class of 2019 gathered at the Storm King Golf Club on Tuesday, April 30, to celebrate their accomplishments and enjoy a special luncheon.

Following a few opening words by Headmaster Jonathan Lamb, Storm King’s Alumni Council President Scott Cantor ’73 spoke to the students of his time at Storm King and warmly welcomed the graduating seniors into the Storm King Alumni Family. “From now until graduation, savor your time left on the Mountain, enjoy your friendships, and create lasting memories. It may not seem important now, but you will find that 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, even 40 years from now, these are the things that will matter the most and bring you happiness,” said Mr. Cantor to the class.

Senior Class President Steven Muller ’19 announced that the Senior Class Gift from the Class of 2019 will be a Bose Indoor/Outdoor Sound System, for which the students will be raising money in the upcoming weeks. The luncheon concluded with a group photo on the golf course and the students received their gift from the Development and Alumni Office of sweatshirts designed by fellow seniors Zoe Stene and Tiana Vazquez.

Congratulations to the Class of 2019 on their upcoming graduation and we wish them success in all of their future endeavors.
