Alumni Awards
Humanitarian Award 2025
Chris Cavallo, Class of 1970 – for founding The Robin Foundation in South Florida to distribute Narcan and provide training to combat the opioid epidemic. In 2024, The Robin Foundation distributed over 4,800 Narcan kits to individuals and organizations in high-risk areas and conducted more than 50 training sessions to offer hope and resources to those affected by substance abuse and their families to get their lives back and prevent deaths by overdose.
The Alumni Arts Award 2025
Andrew Holbrooke, Class of 1965 – for his career as a photojournalist, cinematographer and producer who has worked throughout the world. Holbrooke has been honored with numerous Pictures of the Year/National Press Photographer’s Association awards, a World Press Photo award, an Art Director’s Club award, and the Harry Chapin “Best Photojournalism” award from World Hunger Year. He is a 2004 NYFA Photography Fellow with work in the permanent collections of the George Eastman House and part of the video, “The Power of the Image,” on permanent display at the Newseum.
The SKS Sports Hall of Fame 2025
The Storm King School Sports Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional athletic achievement by Storm King School alumni, coaches, athletic directors and teams. Inductees who have a distinguished record in athletics and dedication and commitment to exemplify the core mission and values of The Storm King School.
The 2025 inductee is: Jerry Carballo, Class of 1990 – for exceptional leadership as the captain and the leading scorer on the lacrosse team, captain of the basketball team, and one of the top cross-country runners in the three years at SKS. He was an unselfish leader/captain who would do anything for his team.”

New Head Receives A Warm Welcome in West Palm Beach
The fourth “Meet the Head” gathering was held on February 6, 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trustee Peter Fox ’77 generously planned and hosted a three-course dinner and drinks for 20 cheerful attendees in a private room at Lynora’s restaurant.
