Spring is around the corner at The Storm King School and the countdown to receiving college acceptances is on for the senior class. The bar was set high by last year’s graduates with some moving on to the Ivy League and the nation’s most prestigious art colleges, and this year’s roster is already impressive.

To date, early action and early decision letters received include Purdue, NYU, Wake Forest, George Washington, Emerson, Penn State, Pratt Institute, University of Vermont, Hong Kong Polytech, The Citadel, Ohio State, University of Toronto, and many others.  Regular decision letters are due to arrive starting in March.

What’s the secret to our students’ success? According to Storm King’s Director of College Counseling Dr. Marti Kwon, it is the combination of engaged and motivated students, supportive parents, and dedicated faculty. “We take great pride in the high level of personalized attention provided to each student as we help them plan for life after secondary school,” she explains. “Our objective is to guide them to select the most appropriate colleges or universities that match their talents and potential, and to assist them during the search and application process.”

Storm King’s personalized approach to college counseling continues to prove its effectiveness year after year with 100% of our students going to college and the majority attending one of their top three choices of school each year. With the majority of regular decision letters expected in March from colleges including Harvard, Yale, Brown, Duke, Tufts, Vassar, Villanova, Dartmouth, Colgate, Cornell, Barnard, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon, and many more, things can only get better for the class of 2020.
