Boys Tennis Captures HVAL Championship
The highlight of the spring came from the Boys Tennis team, which earned the HVAL Championship and cemented itself as one of the league’s top programs. Through consistent play, depth across the lineup, and strong leadership, the Cougars put together an outstanding season that culminated in the league trophy.

Girls Tennis Gains Postseason Experience
The Girls Tennis team displayed hard work and steady progress throughout the spring season. Among the highlights were strong victories over Oakwood Friends School and Christian Heritage School, while several closely contested matches demonstrated the team’s competitiveness and growth.
In addition to regular season competition, the Cougars represented SKS in both the HVAL Individual and Doubles Tournaments, gaining valuable postseason experience against top league competition. The team’s effort and sportsmanship were evident throughout the season.
Baseball Builds for the Future
Storm King Baseball showed steady improvement throughout the spring, with players gaining valuable game experience and continuing to develop as a cohesive unit. The team demonstrated perseverance and growth over the course of the season while laying a strong foundation for future success.

Ultimate Frisbee Shows Energy and Sportsmanship
The Ultimate Frisbee team embraced a competitive schedule this spring while continuing to grow as a program. Despite facing several strong opponents, the team showed persistence and improvement throughout the season, highlighted by a convincing 15–4 victory over Northern Academy to close out the year.
The Cougars also played in several tightly contested matches, including a narrow 15–13 battle against Northern Academy earlier in the season. The team’s energy and sportsmanship were evident from start to finish as players continued developing both individually and collectively.
Girls Lacrosse Demonstrates Determination
The Girls Lacrosse team competed with resilience and heart throughout the season against a challenging slate of opponents. The team continued to improve as the year progressed and earned an impressive 13–6 victory over Westover School late in the season.
Several younger players gained important varsity experience, while the team’s perseverance and positive attitude helped build momentum for the future of the program. The Cougars remained committed and competitive throughout the spring and continued to represent Storm King well.
Boys Lacrosse Shows Growth and Progress
The Boys Lacrosse team made steady progress throughout the spring season, with clear improvement in both individual skills and overall team play. A key part of the season included clinics led by Dominican College lacrosse, where players learned fundamental skills, strategy, and game understanding. These lessons were reinforced during practice, helping the team translate new concepts into competition.
On the field, the Cougars earned two wins over NYMA, including a close 6–5 victory in the first meeting and a more decisive win in the rematch. The season concluded with a matchup against Marvelwood, where the team faced a strong opponent.
