It was another great weekend at The Storm King School both on and off the court. Headmaster Jonathan Lamb took a moment to thank our students and their parents, teachers, and coaches for their efforts and accomplishments, and all that they bring to the School and the surrounding community.
The boys varsity basketball team electrified campus throughout the weekend hosting teams from Maine and Connecticut for our annual Tip-Off Tournament. After an exciting game and valiant play, the boys fell in the first round versus Hyde School on Saturday but came back in force to beat King School 71-53 on Sunday to a cheering crowd.
Following Sunday’s game, the greater community was treated to the talent of our music students when the SKS Musical Ensemble and Choir took to the bandstand in Cornwall-on-Hudson for the village’s annual tree lighting. According to Headmaster Lamb our music and vocal students, led by Music Director Alva Nelson, were the highlight of the event.
