Our mountain campus is bustling this week as The Storm King School prepares to greet new and returning students and families. For the 2024-2025 school year, SKS is pleased to welcome several new faculty and staff members into our diverse and global community. Along with their professional qualifications, all of our newcomers offer something unique to our vibrant faculty and staff roster.

Rushdi Siddiqui

Rushdi Siddiqui joins the SKS faculty as teacher in the Mathematics and History & Social Sciences Departments. Mr. Siddiqui spent the last 25 years working and traveling across the globe with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and nonprofits, as well as teaching, consulting, mentoring, and writing. Some excerpts from his career include roles as the Founder/Executive Director at the non-profit Children with Cleft; mentor at an AI and climate emissions platform, the Dow Jones Indexes, and Thomson Reuters; and as an advisory council member in Dubai, UAE, and Malaysia. Mr. Siddiqui is also a founding member of the UAE’s Dubai Bank, has written numerous articles, presented in over 200 conferences, given more than 300 media interviews, and received over 30 international awards.

Beckham Hammell

A Hudson Valley native, Beckham Hammell graduated from Marist College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Studies, with concentrations in Biology, Psychology, and Athletic Studies. Mr. Hammell began coaching at Storm King in 2023 and is enthusiastic to continue his career on the Mountain as Biology teacher. In his free time, Mr. Hammell enjoys hiking, playing in a local adult soccer league, running, and traveling.

Sophia Grausso ’20

Sophia Grausso is a 2020 graduate of The Storm King School. She graduated from Fordham University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and concentrations in Creative Writing and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In both of these fields, Ms. Grausso has achieved high honors, including induction to Alpha Chi Omicron, Fordham’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Society. Ms. Grausso is excited to join the Storm King faculty and teach English at her alma mater.

Jennifer Boerke

Jennifer Boerke joins the Storm King School community as an Assoc. Director of Admissions. Ms. Boerke graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She was a member of the school’s track and field team, competing in Sprints and Hurdles events. Before arriving at SKS, Ms. Boerke spent the last three years teaching Special Education in New York City, serving 9th and 11th grade students. She has previously coached Sprints and Hurdles at Saint Thomas Aquinas College, and taught civic action and civic engagement through the educational non-profit Generation Citizen.

Glenny Torres

Glenny Torres brings more than 20 years of experience in business and personnel management, accounting, and audit preparation to her role of Controller at The Storm King School. Glenny graduated from Lehman College Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting.

Anne Marie Coleman

A Hudson Valley native, Anne Marie Coleman earned an Associate’s degree in Humanities from SUNY Orange, and brings more than 25 years of administrative experience in law and education to her role as the Assistant to the Head of School.
