The Office of College Counseling is pleased to announce that the Class of 2021 has an impressive list of college acceptances and commitments once again this year. With graduation right around the corner, Director of College Counseling Dr. Marti Kwon reports that most of the senior class has confirmed at one of their top-choice schools, and many will attend some of the most prestigious colleges and art schools in the nation and around the globe this fall.
“College acceptances have been coming in steadily all winter and through the spring. The seniors faced many hurdles and constantly changing parameters due to continuing pandemic, but they’ve succeeded in having one of the best college acceptance records in the history of The Storm King School. The final commitments they are making this month reflect their hard work, perseverance, and goals. I’m extremely proud of them.”
The senior commitments to date include: University of California-Davis, Santa Cruz, Purdue University, California Institute of the Arts, George Washington University, University of Toronto, University of Belgrade, University of Washington, Syracuse University, Fordham University, Clark University, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Illinois, Denison University, Waseda University, Penn State-Harrisburg, SUNY Albany, University of Rochester, Northeastern University, Niagra College, Stevenson University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Howard University, University of Hawaii-Manoa, Ithaca College, Alfred University, SUNY Buffalo, Clark Atlanta University, University of Hartford, and the School of Visual Arts.
