As The Storm King School prepared for its 158th Commencement, students, faculty, families, and friends gathered to celebrate their outstanding achievements during the 2026 Spring Academic Awards Ceremony. Each semester, Storm King’s Academic Awards—often referred to as the “Book Awards”—honor students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their academic, artistic, and creative pursuits. A longstanding Storm King tradition, each award recipient is selected by their teacher and presented with a personally chosen book. The evening also included recognition of Community Service and Blood Donor Awards, the Junior Class Award winners, Cum Laude Society inductees, and four- and five-year members of the Class of 2026.
The students recognized during the ceremony exemplify the values at the heart of a Storm King education: intellectual curiosity, creativity, perseverance, leadership, and character. Faculty members look forward to this annual opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and growth of their students.
Congratulations to all of the 2026 award recipients and scholarship winners!
