May 1st was National College Decision Day and the excitement among The Storm King School’s seniors is at its peak. The Class of 2024 has much to celebrate, with their achievements filling the whiteboards in the College Counseling Office. This year’s roster of college commitments boasts a mix of esteemed private and public institutions across the nation and abroad, including HBCUs, top art colleges, business schools, and the Ivy League.

The SKS Class of 2024 will attend:

Yale, New York University, Fordham, Parsons, Bard, University of Southern California, Hobart and William Smith, American University, Brandeis, Howard University, Bowie State University, University of Washington, Michigan State, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, Penn State, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Alabama, University of Minnesota, Stevens Institute of Technology, Colorado School of Mines, York College, San Diego State University, Johnson and Wales, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, LIM College, Stevens Institute of Technology, Marist College, Quinnipiac, SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Delhi, Stony Brook University, University of North Texas, SUNY Binghamton, EU Business School, American University Japan, IE Business School Spain, ESMOD Paris, and Queen Margaret University Scotland.

In addition to academic pursuits, two senior athletes deserve recognition for their commitments to play their sport at NCAA Division I and III schools. Marisa Chapman will play Division I women’s basketball for the Yale Bulldogs, while Isabella Suero will play Division III women’s basketball with the Johnson and Wales Wildcats.

Director of College Counseling Dan Constantinidi shared his excitement for the seniors as they move toward the next chapter in their lives. “I am immensely proud of each member of the senior class for their dedication and achievements as they commit to the colleges of their choice. Their hard work and perseverance have brought them to this time in their lives, and I couldn’t be happier for the bright futures that await them.”
