On April 15, the Walter Reade Jr. Theatre at The Storm King School was filled with music, song, and community spirit as students took to the stage for the 2025 Spring Music Recital. From classical piano to Indie hits and beloved Broadway tunes, the evening was a vibrant celebration of artistic expression and student achievement.
The recital opened with an elegant rendition of Debussy’s Clair de Lune by Zhuoya Y. ’26, followed by a soulful cover of Maneater by Santiago S. ’26. The Storm King Band Ensemble brought fresh energy to Heart to Heart and Violet, featuring standout performances from vocalists Patrick F. ’25 and Santiago, accompanied by Sagan N. ’25, Andy C. ’26, Coco P. ’25, and Lambert L. ’28.
Solo vocalists captivated the audience with numbers ranging from The World We Knew to I’m Here, with heartfelt duets and trios—like City of Stars and Little Shop of Horrors—adding theatrical flair. The recital concluded with a moving choral performance of Seasons of Love and What Is This Feeling, showcasing the collective talent of Storm King’s vocalists.
