Financial Aid

The Storm King School is committed to supporting education for students from a wide variety of backgrounds, regardless of a family’s ability to pay the full tuition amount. We believe it is vital to a student’s current and future success to be surrounded by a culturally and socio-economically diverse student body. This gives our students a well-rounded foundation for the rest of their lives. We encourage every family that is interested in the Storm King education to apply.Financial aid is available and based on the needs of each individual student. Merit Scholarships are available.

For the 2016-17 school year, Storm King School has offered $1.7M in financial aid awards ranging from several thousand dollars to nearly the full cost of tuition to 35% of our families from a broad range of income levels. These awards are grants - not loans - and; therefore, do not have to be paid back.

Within the limitations of our budget, and according to our financial aid policies, we use the services of the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) recommendations as a guideline in determining individual awards.

Financial aid is renewable and families are required to apply each year. Please contact Marek Pramuka, Director of Admissions for opportunities: mpramuka@sks.org or 845-458-7542.
