What better way to learn about The Storm King School philosophy, resources and programs than by attending an Information Session? The Admissions staff cordially invites prospective students and their families to tour our scenic campus. See how our community of teachers, coaches, and classmates can help you achieve your highest aspirations!
Information sessions begin at 10:00 AM with welcoming remarks and a brief introduction. Next, during a 1-hour tour of SKS’s scenic campus, the group will learn about SKS’s academic, sports, and arts programs. Families may discuss the application process and have a chance to ask questions and schedule a Student for a Day shadowing visit or an interview. Please wear comfortable shoes and outerwear.
After the Information Session, you can spend a relaxing afternoon strolling through adjacent Black Rock Forest or nearby Storm King Art Center. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Student for a Day Program
Be a Student for a Day and see if The Storm King School is right for you.
The Storm King School believes that students are more likely to achieve success in all areas of their lives if they are in the educational setting that is right for them. We believe that by attending classes and shadowing a current student, prospective students will have a clearer sense of our unique community.
As a Student for a Day, prospective students shadow an SKS student in the morning, attend classes, and meet other Storm King students and faculty. Students come away with a sense of whether or not The Storm King School might be the right fit.
Many Storm King students have already participated in the Student for a Day program during their own application process. They are friendly and eager to share their experiences and to meet prospective students. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a visit.
