Megan Liggett is a new dynamic part of the Visual Arts faculty and head-starting the Fashion Design curriculum. Before joining The Storm King School, she taught visual arts throughout NJ and Baltimore, MD in secondary schools. Liggett has also worked for three years at Kent Place School (Summit, NJ) during the summer programs teaching a wide range of programs such as scrapbooking and jewelry design. Her teaching philosophy focuses on the artist as a scientist, explorer, and lateral and divergent problem-solver in the 21st century. Her artistic and creative ambitions include painting, drawing, sewing, sculpture, and installation art. Liggett received her MAT in Art Education as a certified PreK-12 grade art teacher and BA in General Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
