Unstoppable!  The Girls Soccer Team kicks off the season with the “right” foot!

Coach Mowat had this to say after the girls first game of the season, against Faith Christian:

“The girls soccer team had a seesaw battle today against Faith Christian Academy. I am thrilled to report that they came out on top, winning the match by a score of 5-4. Shania returned to action in the nick of time to score ALL FIVE OF OUR GOALS!!!!! Defensively, Tiana and Sam squashed continued pressure to secure our first win of the season. Way to go ladies!

An important side note: We stopped at McDonald’s for dinner and as we were leaving I was stopped by another customer who was with her two small children. She was so impressed with her interactions and observations of our girls which says so much for the values we are exhibiting on and off the field and in the classroom. One of the girls offered to help carry food for this woman’s family and she observed another asking one of the employees at McDonalds if she could help with the overflowing garbage. Keep it up and you will change the world!”
