All 3 teams will compete in HVAL Final tournaments in the coming week.
Boys & Girls Cross Country

Boys Varsity Soccer
Boys Varsity Soccer clinched the regular season title with a win over local rival NYMA on November 3. Two goals were scored by Rhyan ’23, and one a piece from Seth ’22, Hugo ’23, and Diego ’25 for a final team score of 5-0. The team’s final home game will be Friday, 11/5, at 4 pm against Marvelwood. Girls Varsity Soccer
Girls Varsity Soccer finished their regular season with a win over Harvey School, 2 – 1, and celebrated their senior players at the half: Coraline, Zainab, Anora, Madelyn, and Carly. Girls JV & Varsity Volleyball

Girls JV Volleyball was able to take the court twice this week. On Tuesday, 11/2, the team traveled to NYMA for a match up against their opponent’s starter program. The Cougars performed admirably and held the Knights to a tight score during each set. With limited rest, the team went on the road again against the Faith Christian JV team. The JV Cougars went point-for-point in the first part of each contest, but unfortunately dropped the match 0-2.
Both Varsity and JV Volleyball teams will travel to Forman School on Saturday, 11/6 for their final regularly scheduled games of the season.
Next week, the Storm King Athletic Department plans a smooth transition between the Winter and Fall seasons. After turning in their fall equipment, the Cougars will be provided with some unique and exciting opportunities to enhance their leadership skills with presentations from the Positive Coaching Alliance and ‘Madness on the Mountain’ – the official launch and celebration of our winter sports teams.
