May 1st marks National College Decision Day, and excitement is running high for The Storm King School’s senior class. The Class of 2026 has much to celebrate, with an impressive range of college commitments spanning top public and private universities, art and design schools, and international institutions.

Members of the Class of 2026 will attend a diverse group of colleges and universities, including Boston University, Barnard College, New York University, Northeastern University, Syracuse University, University of Michigan, University of Washington, and University of California, Santa Barbara, among others. Students will also pursue their passions at leading creative institutions such as ArtCenter College of Design and Savannah College of Art and Design, while others will continue their education at international universities in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Singapore—reflecting the global outlook of Storm King students.

The academic interests of the Class of 2026 are wide-ranging, with students pursuing fields such as business and economics, engineering, political science and international relations, psychology and sociology, journalism, and the health sciences. Others will explore areas including marine biology, architecture, entertainment design, aeronautical science, and dramatic writing, while some begin their college journeys undecided or in first-year exploratory programs.

Several senior athletes will also continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level. Elizabeth U. ’26 will compete in Division III at Hamilton College, Laila M. ’26 will play Division III at Alfred State College, and Ava O. ’26 will advance to Division II at Daemen University.

Director of College Counseling Dan Constantinidi shared his enthusiasm for the graduating class: “This is an exciting and well-earned moment for our seniors. Each student has approached the college process with focus and determination, and the results speak for themselves. I’m excited to see what they accomplish next.”

Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors on this important milestone. The entire Storm King community celebrates their achievements and looks forward to all they will achieve in the years ahead.
