TEAMWORK, SPORTSMANSHIP, MENTAL TOUGHNESS, CARING, UNSELFISHNESS, COMPOSURE, SUPPORT, FAMILY, LOVE…These are the attributes to which we aspire in The Storm King School Department of Athletics.  These are the attributes that we saw personified on our main athletic field to the highest degree on Saturday afternoon by the youngest of our athletic teams, the boys developmental soccer team, made up of mostly 8th and 9th grade students.  These young men dominated Woodhall School from the opening whistle with togetherness like I have never seen from any group of athletes in my 27 seasons of coaching here.  All 16 players who dressed contributed and the fact that 8 different players found the net is a testament to the altruism of these boys.  The final score and who scored are superfluous particulars in comparison to what our guys demonstrated today.  The fact that many of these young men will be at Storm King for four or five years is evidence that our school is destined to be a great place for years to come.

Thank you boys!!!
